Giveaways week of Aug 5

Edited to add another...and days remaining

Ok... nothing of substance yet. But I just HAD to blog about this one. Katherine over at Yay Third Grade is having a giveaway. And this is a BIG giveaway. I am talking monumental... ok to me it is anyways. Ever heard of Erin Condren? And her amazing planners? And even more amazing teacher planners? Yea... that is what she is giving away! I have been eying these up for so long but I just can't justify the cost. (Even though my husband did tell me go ahead and get one, I just couldn't do it... not yet.) But now she is giving me (and all her readers, and now all MY readers since I am telling you about it) the chance to win one. I mean, if you don't want one, by all means stay away and let me have a better chance haha. But who WOULDN'T want one? To enter her giveaway click her blog title (at the beginning of my post). It will take you right to the giveaway post. Good Luck! 2 days as of Sunday Night! This one has ended!

Another giveaway going on is from Amber from Synonym Rolls and Antonym Moments. She is giving away... wait for it... a 31 bag!! If you do not have one of these.. you want one! Trust me! I am obsessed. So obsessed that I actually want more than one so I can switch out my bags through the year. Go enter! Only 2 days left as of Sunday night!

And Ashley over at Fierce in Fourth is celebrating 100 followers with a Starbucks gift card. Who doesn't want one of those?! I don't even drink coffee and I want one! 2 days left as of Sunday Night! Sorry this one has ended!

Oh my... and Layla from Fancy Free in Fourth is giving away.. well so much that I can't even list it. But you definitely want to check this one out. TpT giftcards, starbucks, KPM doodles... so much more. Check it out! 5 days left as of Sunday night!

Found another that all you teachers will appreciate... Courtney at Swimming into Second is at it again with another great giveaway. This time she is giving away a classroom friendly pencil sharpener. Considering my class isn't even equipped with a sharpener this would be a GREAT addition! I have an electric one that I purchased but after have 3 break, I will NOT let the students use it. This would be nice for them to sharpen their own pencils! 4 days left as of Monday night!

  3. Hi Gina! Thanks for letting me know you found my blog, and for sharing my giveaway! Finding new blogs to follow (especially third grade ones) is exciting, so I'm glad to have found you!

To answer your question about the pens: they work great, but I will warn you that if you leave them in a hot car or another really hot place, the pens will seem like they stop working - I made that mistake just today, but after some googling I realized that the extreme heat makes the ink not work (and even "disappear" on paper), so I put my pack of pens in the freezer for about 20 minutes and after they got back to room temperature, they worked just as good as new. I was about to pull my hair out when I brought them out to show my 9 year old brother how cool they were, and then they didn't work! So, you'll just have to be careful about extreme temperatures, but yes, they definitely do work - the colors are bold (the only one that isn't really is the black; it shows up more like gray) and they erase very well!

Hope that helps in your decision to buy/not buy! I'm seriously addicted to fun writing tools, so I'm glad I was able to revive my precious new pens! :)

  4. Oh, and I guess I should have mentioned that the pens I'm speaking of did come from that website - I haven't gotten the markers yet, but I'm hoping they'll work just as well as the pens! :)
