January Currently

It's that time! Time for Currently with Farley

Listening: Payton has the Disney Jr channel on for noise. She hardly WATCHES it but we MUST have the channel for her background noise. And Mickey Mousekercize was just on.

Loving: That is self explanatory. I have not done one school related thing this break and it has been wonderful... until I have to do it all this weekend. I go back Tuesday.

Thinking: We are moving and every single house we have found and loved (and even offered on one) we lose. It is getting very frustrating!

Wanting: You would think being off over two weeks I would be able to catch up on sleep, but it just isn't happening. I have no idea WHY I am so tired all the time but it is getting old.

Needing: To lose weight. I will NOT turn 30 (in May) at this weight. But... being that I am always exhausted, I never have the energy to do any form of working out.

Memory/Tradition: We don't have a New Year's tradition yet (hopefully once we move) but for Christmas Payton gets new pajamas and an ornament for the tree on Christmas Eve. She hangs the ornament, puts on her new pajamas, and then we read The Night Before Christmas.

What are you up to currently? Join the fun and link up with Farley!

  1. I also thought that I would be catching up on sleep during break but no such luck! The other night I stayed up until 3:00 AM watching My Big Fat Greek Wedding on Youtube...ridiculous! I haven't stayed up that late since college!
Here's hoping you get a few extra zzzzz's before Tuesday!

  2. So sorry you're having a hard time with the house hunting. Maybe 2014 is the year it will get better. :)

I'm sure you are beautiful the way you are, but I totally understand wanting to lose weight. There is something about the new year that sparks a new interest in my health! I have a few friends who have been on this thing called Plexus -- have you heard of it? It's a powder that you pour into your drink. It's not a meal replacement; it's just supposed to make you healthier and give you more energy. I don't know much about it, but I think I'm going to have to do some research to see if it's something I should try. Anything that gives me more energy sounds like something I need to check out!

  3. Gina...have you had your thyroid checked? I get mine checked every 6 months just to be sure when I am overly tired. I take a nap almost every afternoon because I stay up entirely too late every night and drag myself out of bed in the morning. I deprive myself of sleep. I know that.
